Dr Gideon Lurie

MBBS FRACP

Dr Gideon Lurie is an Australian trained paediatrician with extensive experience in both general medicine and developmental paediatrics. 

​

Gideon graduated from Monash University in 1999 before undertaking paediatric training through the Royal Children’s Hospital and Monash Medical Centre.  During his advanced training, Gideon worked in both Australia and New Zealand in many different areas of paediatrics.  He completed his paediatric fellowship in 2008.

​

Gideon has run a busy private practice in Mount Waverley for over ten years.  He has a public hospital position at Sandringham Hospital, and he is also a visiting paediatric specialist at Cabrini Hospital and Waverley Private Hospital.

​

Gideon sees children up to the age of eighteen years.  He is trained in all aspects of general and developmental paediatrics.

Gemma Gringlas

Psychologist

Gemma completed her Masters of Clinical Psychology in 2013 at Deakin University.  She has worked in both private and public settings, including the Royal Children's Hospital Mental Health Service.  Gemma is accomplished in using a range of techniques including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Play Therapy, Family Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.

Gemma enjoys working with children, young people and their families to help ensure they reach their full potential in and out of the school environment.  She works with young people who are having difficulties at school, both academically and socially.

 

Gemma specialises in administering educational and developmental assessments for learning difficulties (e.g. Dyslexia), Autism  & ADHD. 

 

Gemma’s experience also includes the treatment of anxiety, depression, trauma, anger management  and challenging behaviour.

Su Ann Leow

Speech Pathologist

Su Ann is an experienced Speech Pathologist with a keen interest in working with paediatric clients and their families, particularly in the areas of language, literacy, speech & multimodal communication.

 

Su Ann is passionate about working with children aged 2-14  years.  Her range of experience includes:

 

  • Bilingual & CALD families

  • Speech Delay

  • Global Developmental Delay & Intellectual Disability

  • Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

  • Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)

  • Learning Disorders & Dyslexia

  • Childhood Apraxia of Speech

  • Gemma completed her Masters of Clinical

  • Down Syndrome

Su Ann is fluent in English, Madarin & Cantonese.  She enjoys watching movies, trying new foods and spending time with her family and friends in free time.
